AI In Retail: Beyond ChatGPT

Daisy Founder and CEO Gary Saarenvirta has been featured in the 2023 Q2 Executive Roundtable from Retail Today Magazine.

The feature explores how AI - beyond tools like ChatGPT - is being applied in the retail space, as well as what retailers can expect as the use of the technology becomes increasingly prevalent. 

"Intelligent automation will become the cornerstone of all merchandise planning processes. While retailers can expect changing job roles, they will maintain an integral role in high value planning activities. AI will augment their decision-making and planning capabilities to produce sales outcomes that are above any existing trend, in the range of 5% to 10% total company sales growth and the doubling of total company net income,” says Saarenvirta.
